Why I want to make this:

One day I was lurking on YouTube and I saw this video (about ink cartridges), which reminds me ink cartridges are hella expensive 💸 And he raised a very good question:

Yes! If we cannot make ink cartridges that can be hacky enough to fool the printer made by the big companies, why don’t we make our own printers!

Fortunately, there aren’t much open sourced printers out there, as they are not like 3D printers, you might not be able to buy the required components on the hardware market easily.

So,

• What if we let people 3D print their own ink cartridges, and be able to buy a biggo bottle of ink and refill their own ink cartridges theirselves?
• What if we let people can spend less money on inks?
• What if we don’t stop their printer when their ink level is low? Instead we just give alerts?

And here’s all about this idea.

Required knowledges to achieve this:

More about this idea/ project:

Actually after I am writing all of these, I think that there are more potential people on the society that could be helped out by this project, such as the people that are poor and cannot afford expensive inks/ printer. So this will be really meaningful if it comes true.

Also this project might also be profitable as people might not wanna buying the component online and DIY their printer.
